Why they are coming to Tromsø?
They have a unique powerful journey, bringing the strong ‘rebel’ women voices back into the 21st century. “Aita mon amour” is Widad Mjama’s new creation. Inspired by her fascination for the Chikhates, these strong and powerful ‘rebel’ singers. A unique show that we are exited to bring to Tromsø.

Why they are coming to Tromsø?
One of the best jazz outfits from Norway. We also love to collaborate with Tromsø jazzklubben. We want to bring Flukten’s dirty jazz to dance to. Soft and fine-tuned jazz to think about.

Welcome to Tromsø World FREE
Tromsø World Free is daytime free event happening on 2. november in different locations in city center of Tromsø. The event is free access platform to show the real international Tromsø. By shining a spotlight on international music, food and culture, we are creating a fantastic opportunity for community and promoting diversity in Tromsø.
This is a day the whole city can meet in the centre! You can look forward to music, theatre, workshops, dance, food, film, lectures, courses, exhibitions and children’s activities!
Tromsø World FREE is suitable for people of all ages, from children to adults. This new concept aims to create an inclusive environment for all of Tromsø’s residents.
This day, and the festival itself, was created to be able to share culture, art and music across borders. With local and international actors, this will be an event that presents the cultural diversity of Tromsø.
Tromsø World FREE has been created in collaboration with various immigrant associations, committed individuals and all the outdoor venues.

Tromsø World PRO is a small start to a conference/industry meeting for the culture and music field. This year several international experts will have presentations of their work with a Q&A session afterwards. The goal is for international professionals to share experience and knowledge with local musicians/performers and others from the music/culture field.
