BALÁZS WEYER – Balázs Weyer (Budapest, Hungary)

Balázs Weyer is an ethnomusicologist and world music producer based in Hungary. He curates major festivals such as Budapest Ritmo and leads the Creative Europe project MOST, while also serving as an advisor to UNESCO Cities of Music. Weyer is a WOMEX Samurai, a member of the World Music Charts Europe jury, and chairman of Music Hungary. He lectures on music history, produces documentaries and radio programs, and frequently speaks at international conferences.
