Starting in 2026, Tromsø World expands beyond the annual festival in week 44 to host selected concerts throughout the year.
The first concert in this series features Teresinha Landeiro, one of Portugal’s most captivating young voices in fado. With her warm presence and distinctive artistry, she brings a fresh and contemporary sound to the traditional genre.
Her acclaimed album Para Dançar e Para Chorar (2024) blends the soul of fado with influences from pop and folk music. The 2025 deluxe edition included special duets with António Zambujo and Jota.pê, bridging Portuguese and Brazilian sounds. Following her sold-out debut at Lisbon’s CCB Main Auditorium, Teresinha Landeiro has become a vital name in contemporary fado – young, ambitious, and radiant.
