Le Motel and Magugu are a Brussels/Cardiff-rooted duo whose collaborative relationship dates back to 2021. Le Motel, boss of Maloca Records, is known for his signature organic percussive production, while Magugu, a Nigerian poet and Cardiff-based “Pidgin Rap Guru” raps in Pidgin, an English-based creole spoken in Nigeria, blending Afrobeat, Dancehall, Grime and Drum and Bass with a distinctive raw voice.
At Tromsø World 2026, Le Motel and Magugu bring a set shaped by bass pressure, experimental beats and global hip hop energy to Storgata Camping — music that feels exploratory, immediate and deeply alive.
