Ola Rokkones hosts french Verøna

We are delighted to announce our collaboration with Tromsø Jazz Club. In that occation we are presenting Ola Rokkones and Verøna.

Northern France meets Northern Norway in an exciting musical landscape, when the versatile saxophonist Ola Asdahl Rokkones takes the jazz quintet Verøna on tour! Somewhere between Shakespeare’s dream conception of Italy, Kenny Wheeler’s well-crafted compositions, and majestic Norwegian landscapes, Verøna has for over 10 years explored directions in European jazz, without haste and with reverence. Rokkones, for his part, is a musician who has received international recognition for several of his releases and projects within a wide range of genres.
