READY ATLANTIC exists somewhere between underground rave energy and raw punk intensity. Formed between New York and Tromsø, the band brings together electronic production, jagged guitars, looping experimentation and explosive live performance into a sound that feels both chaotic and tightly controlled.
Fronted by Brooklyn-based vocalist Ruthy Mirsky — known from projects such as The Drums and The Familiar — alongside guitarist and loop architect Carl Christian Lein Størmer, READY ATLANTIC draws inspiration from dance-punk, post-hardcore and leftfield electronic music. Echoes of bands like Le Tigre, Fugazi and The Ting Tings run through their music, but the result feels entirely their own: restless, energetic and emotionally charged.
Since forming in 2023, the band has released multiple albums and EPs while quietly building momentum on the American underground scene, including praise from Rolling Stone. Yet despite the Tromsø connection, the band has until now only performed in the United States.
At Tromsø World 2026, READY ATLANTIC finally plays its first concerts on Norwegian soil — bringing a live show that transforms the room into something suspended between club night, noise ritual and moshpit.
